Yes, Magnus is doing really well isn't he. Did you see that interview where he said he started playing chess at 8 (after learning the rules at 5)? That means he's only been playing for 7 years! Amazing.
Still, they say that if you don't make it by your teens then you never are.

I wouldn't be surprised if the kid becomes champion in a few years.
I never knew Cheparinov before this world cup. He is great and practically refuted the Benko (on Chess FM).
