There exists an extremely large group of chess players who are no longer beginners nor, on the other hand, masters or point hunters, but players who aim primarily at deriving an aesthetic satisfaction from the game. For such players an attacking game is more attractive than positional technique and they will continue to attack regardless of risk., for their stormy contest are not going to be noted down in theoretical textbooks. Takchess, as you might know already, we had the Chess Blogger Oscars in Janauary. now there is urgent need to create a new category, herewith:
"The Ribli-Scott Award for Chess Arrow and Highlite Square Excellence". My vote is on you, but temoschlucker gets runner up.
another else care to vote? this is for 2008, but we can wait a year to see how it goes next time... with a follow up award next year.
if no one has any big objections or substitutions, lets put you on the podium now.
warmest, dk

I in turn would have to hand it to Prof. Fritz who seems to throw those arrows at random on the board as I analyze.

Hi Polly,
When you play positions as unsound as I then fritz gives you a bunch of arrows. 8)
For anyone who care about the mating net . the first move is white h4. Then white closes in on the King.
