Another Traxler Win + pushing the envelope
Here is another Traxler Win against a higher player. I love this line however 5 Bxf7 by white would be difficult. Also I seem to have broken the 1600 level which I had seen since last year. Another cup of coffee in the big leagues.

After seeing some of your games with Traxler I began playing it myself. It is a lot of fun and the ideas are rather easy to remember. It just took some time to convince myself that it is ok to give my opponent a rook and a bishop for an attack :)
So far I've won all the games where White has played 5.Nxf7, unfortunately all the good players I've faced play 5.Bxf7+ Ke7 6.Bd5 Rf8 7.0-0. Black has still some compensation for the pawn and a promising kingside attack..

on playchess, I see about 80-90 %taking with the Knight. The Bishop lines are harder There are some lines where d4 is played before any takes .It is alot of fun and I am surprised to see some highly rated players take with the Knight.

I got interested in your counter gambit. So I was wondering if you have a playable line against 5.Bxf7+?

this game collection has a sampling of traxlers where the knight takes and the bishop takes .
Perhaps this will give you the ideas of right path to take.good luck!
