There exists an extremely large group of chess players who are no longer beginners nor, on the other hand, masters or point hunters, but players who aim primarily at deriving an aesthetic satisfaction from the game. For such players an attacking game is more attractive than positional technique and they will continue to attack regardless of risk., for their stormy contest are not going to be noted down in theoretical textbooks. I was debating it as I got a Get out of Jail Free card for fathers day. 8) I think I may play at the Bow club in a 1 day swiss the following week.
I understand that Walt and Art are going to be there.

Jim--I was supposed to start playing you 10 minutes ago in our LEPers game. I am at a library where I simply cannot get FICS to work, as much as I tried finalging with it. Awfully sorry about that. I won't be home until tomorrowso we might have to try netx weekend unless you're a real night person. I'm going to see if I can arrange something else during the week, will let you know. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Jim, let's play at 4:30 pm Eastern (1:30 for me) on Sunday. I've never tried playchess actually--I hope you don't mind FICS, it's been my home base for a couple of years. I'll check out playchess and see what it's like.
