Trying out the Chess.com viewer

http://blog.chess.com/Takchess/test-game2

I am trying out the Chess.com viewer and pleased that the comments I make in Fritz can be seen in the viewer. At some point in the future, I will fully annotate one of my games.

Go Sox !

Cool! I'm surprised you play fairly standard lines against the Sicilian. What about crazy gambiteering Takchess?

That Sox game was a work of art last night.

I'm still trying to make up my mind between the wing gambit or GPA. Have any of you had any experience with the wing gambit?

I've never messed about with that gambit.

I try the wing gambit now and again but never really get good attacking positions I like. GPA on the other hand is a ready-made attack.

If the choices are GPA and Wing Gambit, I'd suggest GPA.

hello Takchess. I had opportunity to listen to the lattest John Watson interview, at chessFm.com or the icc webcast, and he had Raymond Keene on there, who simply raved about Reti's Masters of the ChessBoard.

with no offence to your great suggestion, i had to hold off. there comes a point, first 941 classic GM games, then 1,400+, then 1,664 when we dont need more games (no matter how great they are) but to ACTUALLY study them.

but, in the end, your gallant suggestion to add GM Ram was--as i have repeatedly said--a fantastically fruitfull suggestion. and at that time, you recall, i gave you the count as to how many of 'them' i already had in my big collection.

so finally, i buckled down or was able to buckle down, and added Reti's games today, using your collection at chessGames.com of course. thank you.

a minute ago, or moment ago, i just sorted them, or assymilated them into my big database (i dont mean just copy them, that took me only a moment once i had collected them, not being a member... 'click, click, clich'), and

resolved which ones i already had, and, it turns out, that i had 26 of them, so, from your 71 games, have added 45. thank you again. nice stuff.

if you ever want a cc of this big Classic GM game collection taken from or derived from Classic Chess Book Game Collections, pls let me know. id love you to have it. of course, if having your email is still out of the question, i can send it to BDK or tempo, and i doubt they would mind forwarding it to you so you have privacy.

i just want you to have it. it is the bomb!

    warm regards, dk
