Is anyone doing circles anymore ?
Are any knights doing the circles of tactical exercises or have we become a loose confederation of chess bloggers?

All the active Knights are doing Circles (or PCT, which is basically Circles in pre-made form). They do seem to discuss them less, and I talked about likely reasons for this here.
I just realized I can't speak for you as far as doing Circles. I'm never quite sure what you are doing :-P
But I get the sense that there is more behind your question than a request for clarification about the facts of the matter.
Go Pats, Celtics, Bruins, and Sox!

I look at the Knights as a loose confederation of bloggers focusing on Circles training, within an even looser confederation of chess bloggers with many and varied interests.

I am on training hiatus. I am still playing a lot of games. Tactical training will still be part of my study when I return to training though I will spend some significant portion of that studying master games. This has been taking far longer than I had planned, but I am not one for quitting. The real goal is chess improvement not just pounding out problems. Tactical training by itself has not helped me much but it has made a huge difference when combined with a well rounded study plan. Like I mentioned in one of my posts I will consider myself graduated when I achieve my 400 point increase or complete 7000 problems.

I am doing the circles. Right now I'm plowing through level four of Combinational Motifs, which is pretty much like level 40 CT-Art with almost exactly the same problems. My original plan was to just plow through the damn thing seven times, but I'm starting to think that it might be a good idea to do the last two circles on CT-Art.
Level four sucks by the way. I miss being able to solve almost every problem within ten seconds. :) Are you still doing the circles?

I just fired up PCT again for the strategy modules. So I'm definitely circling again. Allthough it aren't tactics this time. However, if you look at my latest post it is often hard to tell the difference:)

Retrograde PCT circles. I'm now doing module 1 after having started with and completed module 2.
